Expositio totius mundi et gentium: Ancient Thracia and Thracians in Late Antiquity (4th century AD).

The proposed report offers an analysis of the anonymous text of the Expositio totius mundi et gentium, compiled in the middle of the 4th century AD.

It exposes in abbreviated form (only in 19 chapters) a kind of "commercial geography" based on the information about trade routes and resources of the Late Antique world.

In it, the Ancient Thracian world is presented eclectically and fragmented in the context of the Roman imperial space (terra Roma nostra).

It is embedded in the already established geographical clichés and is illustrated by several large urban centers dominated by Constantinople.
